Amy Duffy is credited as the sound of 2008 - one of the most interesting and talented singer/songwriters that has emerged for aeons.
The 23 year-old from Wales is blessed with soulful and emotionally honest vocals and has often been compared to 60s singer Dusty Springfield. Her debut single, Mercy, has just knocked Swedish DJ Basshunter off the top of the charts to claim the No.1 spot on the UK single's chart.
Her new debut album, Rockferry, is scheduled for release on March 3, 2008.
