Golden Acre Park

The Golden Acre Park in Leeds is a favourite with residents and visitors alike, and is made up of over 130 acres of gardens and woodland stretching out from a central lake.

Enjoy a stroll on the many walking trails available and stop to watch some gardening demonstrations including a national collection of lilacs and alpine rock gardens, a large display house, a heather garden, an arboretum and pinetum, old shrub roses, rhododendrons and azaleas.

After taking in the beauty of the park, enjoy a coffee and some rare breed burgers and sausages, produced from the herd at Temple Newsam at the cafe.
