Korpiklaani is a Finnish folk metal band formed by Jonne Järvelä, who still remains the mastermind of Korpiklaani. Recording mostly in English, but also in Finnish, the band's musical style of conventional folk/thrash metal has attracted a strong fan base in Finland and the UK.
The band recently released their fourth studio album, Tervaskanto, and their performance in Leeds will be in support of this new release.
Korpiklaani are Jonne Järvelä (vocals/guitar), Kalle "Cane" Savijärvi (guitar), Jarkko Aaltonen (bass), Jaakko "Hittavainen" Lemmetty (violin, jouhikko and woodwinds), Juho "JuhoKusti" Kauppinen (accordion) and Matti "Matson" Johansson (drums).
