Minus the Bear is an experimental rock band from Washington in the US best known for their guitar-taps, electronics with sophisticated time signature composition.

The band released their third studio album, Planet of Ice, in August 2007 and subsequently announced a world tour in support of their new release. The world tour encompasses cities across the UK, in Australia and Japan.
