The Thackray Medical Museum in Leeds is one of the country's leading medical museums and tells the story of medicine and explaining how medical advances have changed and continue to change our lives.
The museum boasts over 42,000 objects and 18,000 books which includes the largest collection of medical trade literature in the world. There are also plenty of exciting exhibitions including living conditions in Leeds in 1842, Disease in Retreat, Fantastic Plastic, Pain, Pus and Blood and many more.
