Modern folk pop duo, Turin Brakes, was formed in London back in 1999. They are a music making / song writing duo and band (Rob, Ed and L'il Phil) with an obsession with guitars.
Blessed with a crazy lovely fan base, the duo has released five studio albums. Their latest release is Dark On Fire (Sept. 2007) and the album's full-band sound harks back to The Optimist LP of 2001.
They will be playing The Cockpit in support of this album in February.
